SITE-School of Nursing, Balangir is managed by Ramjee Yubak Sangha which is registered under the societies registration Act. vide registration No. 8225/578of 1974-75. Giving prime importance to the nations's commitment to bring primary health and education services within the reach of all individual SITE-School of Nursing, Balangir has initiated steps to create health awareness and health care among the public to the rural areas of the state.

This is the only and first non-governmental institution offering G.N.M. Nursing (3 1/2 year course programme) in the western Orissa. The school is permitted by State Government, Department of Health and F.W. vide letter no.ME-II-IXM-160/04:2315 Dt. 29.01.2005 and approved by indian Nursing Council (I.N.C.), New-Delhi a statutory body of Govt. of India under the ministry of health and F.W. New-Delhi.It has been affiliated to Orissa Nurses & Midwives Examination Board, Bhubaneswar.
